My role is to help you slow down, make sense of what’s happening inside, and find ways to cope that feel doable and lasting. I work with children (6+), teens, adults, and parents navigating stress, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, and family conflict. With kids and teens, I often use art, creative expression, and play-based approaches to help them explore feelings and build coping tools in ways that feel natural. With adults, I draw from CBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support self-understanding and emotional healing.

I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I work with children, youth, and adults—both neurotypical and neurodivergent, with a particular focus on supporting individuals with ADHD. My practice is trauma-informed, with an emphasis on navigating dual cultural identities, identity formation, and experiences of grief and loss. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)–based approaches, while tailoring my work to the unique needs of each client.

Central to my work is building a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a space of safety, inclusion, and understanding where clients feel seen, valued, and supported as they navigate their healing journey.

In addition to my clinical work, I have volunteered with survivors of sexual assault and continue to serve with the Baba Nanak Trust Foundation, a community-led organization dedicated to making mental health services more accessible for South Asian populations. Outside of the therapy room, I am the author of two books exploring mental health in South Asian families, and I also enjoy boxing as a way to stay grounded and balanced.
